As most of you are aware, there is a preponderance of mobile devices, many of which are the primary means of accessing the web and many other services for a significant number of people. More and more, even the most novice of computer users are booking flights and hotels, paying their electric bills, managing their insurance policies, and much more, using their mobile phone or tablet.
Since 2014, mobile device usage for accessing information and the web has exceeded desktop PC access by more than 3:2. By 2016, content delivery and development expenditures are expected to eclipse desktop development expenditures.
In response to this, and in keeping with our desire to help our clients remain on top, or ahead, of the technology curve, Vistalogix has been re-engineering our delivery platform and development methodology through our Mobile First (mFirst) initiative.
In 1997, the founder of Vistalogix pioneered bringing modular, database-driven technology to mid-market websites with the development of www.gatorzone.com.
In 2003, this architecture was packaged for the Microsoft platform via our Portfolio web portal software and its related infrastructure.
in 2015, Vistalogix has launched its mFirst development initiative, which will make mobile delivery the primary design factor in all future software architecture and development.
Stay tuned for updates on the deployment of this new initiative and how your organization can get ahead of the curve using our new, standards-based mFirst development platform.
